Kids are Important to Us!

At North Hills, we know how important it is to foster a strong, life-long faith in God and a love for His Word in our youth.  We want them to develop a deep knowledge of God’s Word that will guide them in their Christian walk, and we want to foster relationships that will sustain them in their faith as they grow.  We offer multiple opportunities for our children to study God’s word at age-appropriate levels.

Sunday Bible Classes If you are coming for Bible Class at 9:30, your child/children will be welcome to participate in classes of their own with our caring teachers in their classrooms, while you attend class in the church auditorium.    We also have a simple “class” for infants and toddlers in the nursery at the same time.  After bible class, parents then may go to pick their child/children.  Infants & toddlers may stay in the nursery for worship, if you choose.

Children’s Worship The children are welcome to sit with you during worship. When it comes time for the sermon, children ages 2&1/2 years through 2nd grade are welcomed to go for a time of children’s worship.    A staff member will walk them down and bring them back up for the end of worship with you.

Wednesday Evenings

Activities can vary on Wednesday evenings as families come to study at North Hills with people from our congregation.  Many of our children also  participate in the Leadership Training for Christ, a national program that promotes spiritual growth through leadership, study, service and more!
